Who is this guy?

I was born in a small, but great town called Washington, Missouri. Growing up I was taught to work hard, do the right thing, and be passionate about what I do. I'm also a very lucky person in that I love what I do and that I work for some great companies.

Music is where it all began for me. I started playing drums at the age of six and never looked back. I played drums in church, grade school band, high school bands, and then received music scholarships for college tuition. I've always had a detailed ear when it comes to music and sound. Currently, I play whenever and wherever I can in the St. Louis area and I'm always looking for new and exciting opportunities.

During high school, though, I started figuring out that I have passions for public speaking, broadcast, storytelling, and marketing. It was then that I began my first internship at KLPW 1220 AM in Washington, MO. I was a news intern who helped write news articles for the website and edit radio shows. Later in my senior year of high school, I interned for KTRS 550 AM in St. Louis. I was a sports intern who gathered audio clips from sporting events and assisted in producing shows. After I graduated high school, I went on to Lindenwood University and immediately started a part-time job for Hubbard Radio St. Louis. Hubbard owns 92.3 WIL, 106.5 The Arch, and 101.1 ESPN. I worked on the promotions team as a "street-teamer" and brand ambassador. As I grew in my role, so did my responsibilities. I was able (and fortunate) to have so many great memories and opportunities with Hubbard. It was the PERFECT college job for a communications major who loved doing something different every day on the job.

I graduated from Lindenwood in 2016 with a Bachelors in Mass Communications. I wanted to do as much as possible while in school there. I overloaded my schedule with music, broadcast, and marketing activities, along with a couple internships. One of those internships was with the St. Louis Cardinals in their Publications Department. It was a dream come true to work for my favorite baseball team in the world. I'm very honored that I was rehired for a full year in that role as well as getting hired in sales.

I signed a contract for a full-time position with Hubbard Radio / 2060 Digital as a Digital Strategist a few days before I graduated college. Later that year in September, I switched from ticket sales to the Cardinals' Communications Department taking on the role as a part-time Multimedia Video Communications Specialist. I later spent time in digital marketing for Maritz, Square/Afterpay, Boston Digital and Advantage/Marlin Network, Clemco Industrial, Vantage Credit Union, Schnucks Markets and Equifax and now World Wide Technology as a SEO and SEM Manager. I'm so excited for my future in digital marketing and I'll be ready for what YOU have too!

Sincerely,

Ben Holtmeyer
